Final Project Build & Render

Here is documentation of me building and rendering the head of my Weeping Angel final project.

The idea is that a small arduino-fitted camera will be cut into the neck of the robot, giving it vision to be able to process input and allow for facial recognition. Along wth that, a servo motor is outfitted in the neck to allow its head to swivel and lock onto targets.

This design will inevitably run into hefty programming challenges involving adjusting for head rotations in determining when to turn and where to go, but it's nothing I can't handle :-)

This project greatly improved my fluency in Fusion360 and introduced me into the world of rendering.

This project took about four hours in total.

Build

Timelapse of building the project. At first, I was going to do the head and body, but I realized that it wouldn't have been possible with the given time constraints. So, I went with just the head, which contains most of the complexity of the project. I also didn't have time to learn the electronics in Fusion, so I didn't have time to model those. Overall, this project taught me how to sketch off my own custom planes, cutting into my meshes, and handling imported components. (Video is at 3000% speed)

Renders

Here are the renders I made upon completing the project. There is one for each side of the design and an engineering drawing.
