Vinyl Cutting
This week we were tasked with cutting vinyl to create a sticker and creating a push-fit kit using the lazer cutter
The vinyl cutting was extremely successful, and I even managed to do multiple colors on one of my pieces
The lazer cutting was less sucessful. While I was able to sucessfully model and cut my pieces, I was unable to make them "push-fit" togther, other than the 'bookshop' pieces, which even still barely fits together
I will have to experiment with lazer kerf, as well as speed and power to ensure a snug fit, and that the lazer doesn't burn more of my pieces in the future.
