CUTTING:
The focus of FORGE week 3 is cutting. 2 deliverables were requested, one utilizing a laser cutter and one utilizing a vinyl cutter. On the vinyl cutter, I designed and cut an orthographic fish sticker. After finding a 3D scan of a perch, I imported it into OnShape to create an engineering drawing. I modified the drawing in Illustrator to be a better sticker. This was then cut, resulting in 2 styles: the positives on transfer paper, and the negatives without. On the laser cutter, I created a test fit comb before creating my larger press fit project. See results below.
